The picture behind is, whether you want it or not, the tragedies that took place in the early 20th century, the massacres against the Jews in the territories of the Ukrainian and Russian empires in 1905-1906. remember. In that period, people were targeted not according to their deeds, but according to their national affiliations.
History has long since proven that society, which begins to separate people according to their blood, surname and religion, first loses its spirituality and then loses its state thought. Accordingly, the philosophy of human rights is based on human merit. National, religious and political differences can never be superior to people's worth.
Today, it is extremely dangerous to artificially create discord between peoples, sow seeds of conflict in society, or claim that someone is an enemy of another people because of their national identity. No one has the right to say, “He is a Jew, therefore he does not love Azerbaijanis” or the opposite. Such ideas are not positions, but a direct blow to stability, mutual respect, and the idea of statehood. Throughout history, Azerbaijan has been a place where different nations and religions have lived in mutual respect. Loving Azerbaijan, loving this country is not just love of the homeland. It is like finding shelter from the storm. A person feels safe, valuable, and free here.
As a human rights defender, I openly declare that my activities will continue only within the framework of the law, based on facts and evidence. However, any pressure, discrimination, slander or attempt to incite national hatred may lead to the disclosure of facts that reveal the true face of some people and the ungrateful attitude they demonstrate towards the Republic of Azerbaijan.
I call on everyone to be responsible, to use common sense and to respect each other. History has already shown what a heavy price hatred has cost humanity. Therefore, people should not allow the same mistakes to be repeated again.
